Location
There are several restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the complex. The picturesque fishing village of Alvor is 1.4km away and has a wonderful atmosphere, with pretty promenades, street cafe's, excellent restaurants and interesting shops. The local bus service to Alvor and Portimão passes outside the complex.

The Continente Shopping Centre and hypermarket in Portimão is 3km away. It has several cinemas with most movies in English. The Ria de Alvor nature reserve is 2km away and has lovely walks and bird watching. For livelier nightlife, Portimão Marina and Praia da Rocha, both 5km away, are popular locations, with plenty of restaurants, bars, discos and a casino. Faro Airport is 45 minutes by car.

Beaches
The breathtakingly beautiful sandy beaches in the Western Algarve are amongst the finest in Europe. Praia do Alvor is about 1km away and Praia do Rocha and Praia do Vau are just 3km away; with restaurants nestling in the sculptured cliffs, they offer a perfect setting for a memorable day out.  

Golf
Golfing enthusiasts have an excellent choice of courses. The nearest is Alto Golf Club in Alvor (1km) and Penina golf course (7km), both designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The new Quinta Morgado golf course is located off the Portimão-Monchique Road just north of the A22 motorway. A little further away is the Boavista golf course in Lagos.
